# 9.26 September Release Notes

### Scanifly Design

- **Connected Roofs **- A new way of designing roofs where adjacent roof segments/facets are linked together as one connected structure, rather than being separate independent pieces. This includes:  
    - The core “connected roofs” functionality itself
    - A dedicated UI for working with connected roofs
    - Snapping (edits/edges automatically align to nearby points, making design more precise) when editing connected roofs
    - An updated “add segment” button plus a keyboard shortcut (hotkey) to make adding roof segments faster
- **Setback Update Toggle** - Added a toggle to the keepouts menu where you can disable Auto-Updates for the fire setbacks
