Choose a Preset for Your Proposal

Pick the preset that controls which editor sections you see and which defaults load into your proposal.

A preset is a saved bundle of settings. Choosing one is the fastest way to change how much of the editor you have to deal with.

1. Open Choose Preset

In the top right of the editor, click Choose Preset, then select the preset you want.


 

2. Understand What Changes

A preset controls which editor sections appear and which defaults load.

  • Simple shows a handful of inputs.
  • Advanced adds equipment, adders, and import adders.
  • Roofing swaps in non-solar components, which live in the Balance of System section.

3. Know That Your Choice Is Remembered

Your preset choice is remembered per design. Next time you build from that design, the same preset loads by default.
