Company Details, Branding, and Default Proposal Controls
Add your contact details, proposal title and subtitle, default page visibility, and brand colors so every proposal looks like it came from your company.
Company Details is where your branding lives. Some of what appears on a proposal comes from your Scanifly company settings in portal, and the rest you set here. Knowing which is which saves you time hunting for the wrong field.
This article covers three settings groups: your proposal contact fields, your Default Proposal Controls (title, subtitle, and default page visibility), and your color scheme.
🚧 Admin only 🚧 Company Details is part of global settings, which requires the Manage proposals permission. For more on who can access what, see Proposal Tool Permissions: Who Can Do What.
Pulled From Your Scanifly Portal Company Settings, Not Editable Here
These values come directly from your Scanifly company settings in portal. You cannot change them in the Proposal Tool:
- Company name
- Street address
- City
- State
- Zip
- Country
If any of these are wrong on your proposals, fix them in your Scanifly company settings in portal, not here.

Proposal Contact Fields
Your contact details as they appear on the proposal. On the standard proposal these print in the Cover page footer alongside your company name.

Default Proposal Controls
Default Proposal Controls is the in-product label for this group of settings. It covers what your standard proposal shows when someone exports it:
- Title - The main heading on the Cover page, for example "Your Solar Proposal".
- Subtitle - The supporting line under the title, for example "Savings you can trust".
- Default page visibility - Which of the five pages are on by default when someone exports: Cover, Executive Summary, Technical Analysis, Technical Details, and Additional Images.
A salesperson can still toggle individual pages on or off for a single export, or click Use Saved Defaults to return to what you set here. For a page-by-page look at what each of these pages includes, see Standard Proposal Example.

Color Scheme
Set the accent colors used on your proposals. Click a color and adjust it to match your brand colors exactly.
Accent colors apply to the standard proposal, and to custom templates that reference them. A custom template that does not reference your accent colors will not pick them up, so if you build your own templates, reference the color scheme rather than hard-coding colors into a page. See Template Builder: Access, Templates, and Pages for how templates reference these colors.

❗ IMPORTANT Company details are preset settings. Nothing you change here is saved until you click Update Preset, or choose to discard the change or save it as a new preset. Leaving global settings without doing one of those three loses your work.
For more on how settings are grouped and saved, see Presets: How Settings Are Grouped and Saved.
