Create a Ground Mount
Create arrays for ground mounted systems
❗IMPORTANT❗
If your segment outline is not large enough to fit the ground array layout that you specified, nothing will show in the array area until the outline size is increased or the array parameters are adjusted.
1. Create Segment Outline
Draw your segment on the area where you want to place your ground mount. Don't forget to select the Azimuth and Tilt arrow. Tilt will ultimately be the angle in which you want to have your modules at. You can update this value now or wait until after you have your modules placed.

2. Create Array
With your new segment selected, look at the properties pane in the lower left side of the Layers Tree. Navigate to the Arrays menu and change the Racking to Ground, select the module you want to use, and open up the "Advanced Fill Settings".

3. Adjust Array Details
- Adjust Ground Mount specs
- Module Spacing - The space between Modules in inches
- Array Spacing - The space between Arrays in feet. This will be the most important to change in order to avoid interrow spacing.
- Array Layout - The size of the arrays that will appear when you fill the segment with modules.
- Click Fill Modules

If you click "Fill Modules" and no modules appear in the segment, it is likely because the segment is too small, the array is too large, or the array spacing is too much. If you are just trying to place a single array, turn the Array Spacing to 0. If multiple arrays populate when this is done, you can always delete all but one.
4. Adjust Tilt of Array
At the top of the Arrays section, manually adjust the tilt to reflect the angle you want the array to be.

5. Shade Analysis
Add viewsheds to the array modules and select the shade tool to see how the array will shade the surrounding area.
