Create a New Proposal from a Design

Turn a finished Scanifly design into a new proposal by picking your design, your images, and a name.

Once your design work is done, this is the short form that starts a proposal. Six steps, and you are in the editor.

1. Select the Project

Choose the project you want to build the proposal for. If you came into the Proposal Tool from a project page, this is usually already filled in for you.

2. Select the Design

Pick the design you want to use. Any remote or on-site design in the project is eligible.

3. Confirm the Design Image

The design image defaults to the project's design image, which auto-updates as the design changes. Leave it as is, or pick a different image.

4. Add Supporting Images

Your drone images and other site images appear below the design image. Only a subset shows at first, so expand the list to see all of them. You can select up to 4 additional images beyond the design image, for 5 total. These fill the Additional Images page of the proposal.

5. Change Which Image Is the Design Image

Hover over the top right corner of any image to show the star icon that will make it the design image instead. The star moves to the new image, and that image now becomes the design image used throughout the proposal.

6. Name the Proposal and Create It

The name is prefilled with the project name plus the system size plus the date. Edit it to whatever you want, then click Create Proposal. You land in the editor.

📘 Pro Tip: Because the design image auto-updates, you don't need to regenerate a proposal after minor design tweaks.
