Edit Your Design From Inside the Proposal

The proposal editor includes an embedded Simple Design in 3D, so you can change your layout without leaving the proposal you are building.

1. Open the Embedded Simple Design in 3D

In the proposal editor, open the Simple Design in 3D section. Your design loads in place, with the same controls you use in Simple Design elsewhere in Scanifly.

If you do not see this section, your preset has it turned off. See Control What Your Team Sees: Section and Line Item Visibility to check or change it.

2. Make Your Edits

Adjust the design directly in the embedded view. If you want more room to work, open the embed in full screen.

📘 Pro Tip: Go full screen for a better view of the design controls. Full screen gives you the whole workspace.

[NEEDS CLARIFICATION: Confirm whether the Save button clipping issue at some zoom levels has shipped a fix. If not fixed, this Pro Tip may need to become a limitation note instead of a convenience tip.]

3. Save Your Changes

Click Save. Your edit syncs back to the proposal, and the price and other system values update automatically.
