Export Proposal Data to CSV or JSON

Export the numbers behind a proposal as a CSV or JSON file, separate from the proposal document itself. Use this when your CRM needs the data rather than the finished document.

1. Open the Data Export option under the Active Proposal menu

From this menu, you can either choose the Default Export which grabs the main variables, or you can create a new Export Template at the top right of the page.

2. For New Template: Select the Fields You Want

Choose the specific fields to include. Only the fields you select appear in the file, so you can match the export to what your CRM expects.

Once you have selected all of the variables you want, save the template at the top right of the screen.

3. Export as CSV or JSON

Choose CSV or JSON and export. CSV suits spreadsheets and most CRM imports. JSON suits an integration that reads structured data directly.

Your browser downloads the file once the export finishes. [NEEDS CLARIFICATION: confirm the actual confirmation behavior — file download, in-app toast, or both — and the file naming pattern, so this line can be accurate.]
