IronRidge Integration with Scanifly

Automate Bill of Materials generation by transferring Scanifly layouts to the IronRidge Design Assistant

How to get started

  • Sign up for an IronRidge account and enable the Scanifly integration in the IronRidge account management page
  • Use the same email address as your Scanifly account to ensure seamless integration. Additionally, IronRidge account admins will need to invite other team members to their IronRidge company - just sending the invite doesn't automatically add them

Integration Flow Steps

  • After setting up your integration as described above: When your design is complete in Scanifly save it and navigate to the IronRidge export in the Integrations Panel in the hardware section. There you can select IronRidge and click the layout export to send the  export to IronRidge.

Export Error? Please ensure that ALL of your roof surfaces in your design have a pitch of 8 degrees or more. If you have roof surfaces that are less than 8 degrees, you will need to delete those roof segments prior to exporting because Ironridge does not support low slope roof installations with this integration.

  • This will open up a separate page bringing you to your IronRidge account, where a new project will be made with all of the details from your Scanifly design already in place.
  • Please note you will still need to select the module from a dropdown to ensure the layout is updated with the proper array information.
  • Complete the forms in IronRidge from there to complete the BOM
  • Certain fields will be locked. This indicates that it is data transferred from the Scanifly project. You can unlock these fields but doing so will override the imported data and can lead to inaccuracies. Only override locked fields if you are absolutely confident in your adjustment.
