Review Customer, Address, and Utility Information

Check the customer details that came in from your project, then set the utility rate that drives your savings numbers.

This is the top section of the editor. Most of it is filled in for you, so your job here is to confirm what imported and choose the right utility.

1. Check the Imported Customer Name and Address

The customer name and address come from the project, so you usually don't need to type anything here.

📘 Pro Tip: If the project has no name, this field shows a "John Doe" placeholder. That's your cue to add a customer name to the project.

If anything is showing up incorrectly, both fields are editable.

2. Select Your Utility and Rate

Pick your utility from the list your admin configured. Each saved utility carries the values that drive your savings calculations:

  • Utility name: the provider shown on the proposal.
  • Rate: the cost per kWh.
  • Inflation: the yearly percentage the rate is expected to rise by.
  • Production ratio: the ratio applied to your design's production.
  • Service fee: the basic fee charged regardless of usage.

Some utilities use tiered kWh rates, so one utility can carry multiple tiers at different costs.

3. Enter Utility Details Manually Instead

If you'd rather not use a saved utility, you can enter the utility details by hand in the same section.
