      Mobile Device Requirements

      Minimum Requirements

      iPhone/iPad

      1. iPhone 11 and up/iPad 7th gen and up

      2. Fully up to date iOS
      3. 5 GB free space

      4. LTE/5G with at least 3 bars of service

      5. Unlimited Data plan  

      6. Apple adapter for reading MicroSD card. This adapter typically also requires an SD to MicroSD adapter

      We view an unlimited data plan as a necessity due to other data plans throttling upload speeds once they are maxed out. 

      Recommended Phone

      1. iPhone 14 or newer
      2. 5-10 GB of free space per site done each day*
      3. LTE/5G with at least 3 bars of service
      4. Unlimited Data Plan
      5. Apple adapter for reading MicroSD card. This adapter typically also requires an SD to MicroSD adapter

      *For optimal use of Scanifly Mobile, we recommend having a device that can scale with your usage. For this, we recommend 5 GB of free space per site if using checklists, and an additional 5 GB per site if uploading drone images.
