This article will detail the different types of on-site design services Scanifly is offering.
Wireframes
Our most basic tier of service is wireframes. This service is worth 20 credits/project.
Small Project turnaround time: ~3 Hours
On your 3D model, this will include:
- All roof surfaces outlined
- All obstructions outlined

This service is useful for anyone who wants a design-ready Scanifly model. From here, you can add panels, perform your shade analysis, and export to CAD accordingly. This is what the 2D Wireframe export would look like for this project:
Tip: If you purchase wireframes for all of your projects, wireframe orders will automatically trigger every time you upload a project.
Note: CAD files are not included as a wireframes deliverable. You can use the Exports tab to generate parallel projections, 2D wireframes and more.
Site Plans
Our middle-ground on-site design tier is site plans. This service is worth 40 credits/project.
Small project turnaround time: ~24 hours
For an additional 20 credits/project, you have the ability to accelerate the design turnaround time.
Small project (accelerated): ~3 hours
On your 3D model, this will include:
- All roof surfaces outlined
- All obstructions outlined
- Module placement based on customer-approved preliminary design
- Shade analysis
In addition to the design on your 3D model, you will receive a Site Plan PDF & DXF. This file includes:
- 2D tracing of structure(s)
- Property lines
- Driveways
- Callouts for main equipment
- Necessary file references for CAD

Plan Sets
Our top on-site design tier is plan sets. This service is worth 70 credits/project.
Small project turnaround time: ~48 hours
On your 3D model, this will include:
- All roof surfaces outlined
- All obstructions outlined
- Module placement based on customer-approved preliminary design
- Shade analysis
In addition to the design on your 3D model, you will receive a Plan Set PDF & DXF. This file includes:
- 2D tracing of structure(s)
- Cover Page
- Site Plan
- Roof Plan
- One-Line Diagram
- Mounting Details & BOM
- Electrical labels
- Microinverter & circuit map
