[Design Tools & Project Info](https://help.scanifly.com/scanifly-pv-system-design?hsLang=en#design-tools-project-info) # Simulation Settings ## You can create Presets within Simulation Settings [How to get to the settings menu!](https://help.scanifly.com/scanifly-global-settings?hsLang=en) ### Creating a new Preset: - In order to create a new preset, hover over the "+" Symbol next to the "New Preset" text. - The + sign will change to "+ Add", select that option with your cursor. - Now, click the 3 dots above and rename your Preset as you would like. ![](https://help.scanifly.com/hs-fs/hubfs/new%20simulation-gif.gif?width=670&height=255&name=new%20simulation-gif.gif) ### Other preset actions: - **Rename** - Change the name from "New Preset (number)" to whatever you want. - **Duplicate** - Easily make a copy of your existing preset. This can be useful if you have two similar custom presets and want to save time on creation. - **Set as Default** ☆ - By setting a preset as default, this ensures that projects created in Scanifly will use this preset by default. - **Reset** - Change the settings in this preset back to default settings - **Delete** - This deletes the preset.
